Most of my invitation design work has been for art organizations--for exhibitions and fundraising events.

The design of an exhibition invitation is often part of a package that includes a brochure, poster, and catalogue, as well as ads for magazines, banners, and the gallery graphics.

Event invitations offer a particular challenge in terms of clearly presenting the lists of donors, variety of tickets and benefits, related events, and modes of purchase in a package that is both attractive and innovative without looking like it cost more than the event will raise.
